Presenting our new series of technical articles on composite materials

The +Composites network aims to strengthen innovation and technology transfer in North West Europe (NWE) to meet the upcoming fundamental change that the industry will undergo due to the widespread adoption of composite materials.

The shaping and assembly of composite materials put in the spotlight in Picardy!

On June 11, 2013, many visitors attended the composites-themed event held at the University of Technology of Compiègne, co-organised by +Composites partner CCI Aisne.

The day featured the participation of a number of actors in the field including AEROLIA and FAURECIA, SMEs such as MS Composites, and national and European centres of expertise such as PPE, SIRRIS, UTC, and the University of Brittany.

Innovative design and production: A look back at the conference

With more than fifty participants, the conference "Innovative design and production: 3D printing, additive manufacturing and mass customisation", held on June 13 as part of Greater Region Business Days was a great success. Organised by +Composites partners and CRP Henri Tudor, it was one of the conferences that attracted the more participants during the fair, which attests to the interest of companies in the topic.

Take the +Composites Evaluation Survey!

+Composites would like to invite all participants in past events and initiatives organised by the project over the last two years to fill in our evaluation survey.

The project is currently midway to completion and we would like to take the time to evaluate our work so far.

A look back at JEC Europe 2013

Representatives from +Composites took part in the JEC Europe Composites and Conferences trade fair last week. Held this year from March 12-14, 2013 in Paris, the fair is the biggest composites exhibition in both Europe and the world, and attracted even higher numbers of exhibitors and attendees than in previous years despite adverse weather conditions.
